Family Members:

Harvey lived a full and wonderful life. A devoted Detroit Tigers fan, he attended Fantasy Camp for many years and cherished the friendships and memories made along the way. Music was always close to his heart; he could often be found tapping his foot to the Glenn Miller Orchestra and maintaining lifelong friendships with former and current band leaders and members.

He had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a natural comedian and storyteller who never met a microphone that wasn't his. He was also a true movie enthusiast—he knew films inside and out and could quote just about any movie, often bringing a favorite line to life at exactly the right moment. A dedicated podiatrist, he built and ran a successful practice where he was able to connect with patients from around the community for many years.

Above all, he will be remembered as a loving family man, a devoted friend, and someone whose humor and zest for life brought joy to everyone around him.

Dear father of Guy (Regina) Saperstein, Gregory (Lisa) Saperstein, Glenn (Jonie) Saperstein, Sari (Rich Hohenbrink) Saperstein, Lawrence (Jessica) Miller, Beth (Keith Kay) Malkovich and Todd (Nicole) Miller. Loving grandfather of Micaela, Asher, Olivia (Chris), Stephanie (Chad), Samantha (Josh), Matthew, Seth, Maude, Isaac, Abraham, Lyndsey (Cameron), Jake, Daniel and Drew. Adoring great-grandfather of Crosby, Chet, Charlotte and Benjamin. Devoted brother of Melvyn (Linda) Saperstein and Lynne (Michael) Kukus. Dearest uncle of Cheryl (Anthony) Katz Briggins, Debra (James) Hemenway and Julie (David Grossman) Adelson, Marla (Cyrus), Ethan (Gretchen), Drew (Andrea), Dana (Johnson), Rachel (Mark). Great-uncle of Austin (Antonia) Hemenway, Alexia Hemenway, Shae Adelson, Tori Adelson and Savannah Adelson. Also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
