It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth (Kenny) Weinbaum age seventy-four of Encino, California who passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026.

Born in Detroit and raised in Oak Park. Kenny owned his own business for 22 years and was a successful Mortgage Banker for over 20 years. He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family in West Bloomfield, MI. Moved to California in November of 2024 to be close to his son Marshall, his daughter Carlee and his new granddaughter Lilly.

On 5/27/1979 he married his best friend and the love of his life, Anita. Together they built 47 years of beautiful memories, raising their 3 beautiful children: his favorite sons Keith and Marshall and his favorite daughter Carlee Jade.

To his children Kenny was a loving, guiding dad who instilled the values of hard work and family. He was incredibly proud of all of his children and loved them so much. To his wife he was a devoted partner and a loving husband. Beyond his career and loving to travel to spend time with his family, Kenny was an avid moviegoer, sports fan, and loved to exercise every day. Kenny had so many long time friends and loved every one of them. He was kind and had a quick-witted sense of humor all the way to the end of his beautiful life. His warmth and laughter were gifts to anyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita; his loving children Keith (and Lindsay), Marshall (and Josh), Carlee (and Alex); and was the devoted Grandfather (Papa) to his cherished grandchild Lilly (Miss Lilly) Gottsegen. He was the favorite brother to Sheryl Weinbaum, Linda Kahan and Elisa Weinbaum as well as the adored uncle to Sara (and Matthew), Sydney (and Matthew), Dylan (and Brooke) and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Murray and Marcia Weinbaum.

Kenny you will be deeply missed by all.
