Beloved husband of the late Edythe Swartz. Dear father of Marla (late life partner, Gary Rasmussen) Swartz and Annise (Jeffery) Levine. Former father-in-law of Timothy Chartier. Loving grandfather of Chaely Chartier, Keira (Sammar Faraj) Chartier, Ashley (Bret) Feig, Jillian Levine and Jarret (Marrisa) Levine. Adoring great-grandfather of Ruben Feig, Austin Feig, Ari Feig and Beckham Levine. Devoted brother of Howard (Marilyn) Swartz and the late Perry (the late Valerie) Swartz and the late Irene (the late Herbie) Goldberg. Brother-in-law of the late Sarah and Edward Taylor; the late Leah and Seymour Kaplan; the late Gertrude and Marty Feldman; the late Rose and Joseph Berlinberg and the late Paula and Seymour Weberman. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, grand -nephews and grand-nieces.
Fred who was born in Detroit was a World War II Veteran who graduated from Wayne State, became an Officer for the IRS and returned to public accounting after his retirement. Even after moving to Florida 40 years ago, he spent his summers in Michigan, and he cherished being around family.
