Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Stern, devoted mother of Karl (Marjorie) Stern and daughter Helaine Simons. She was the loving grandmother of Michael (Jen) Stern, Brian Stern (Petra Bebas), Jason Simons and Kimberly (Nick) Barbieri. Loving great-grandmother of Charlotte Barbieri, Chase Barbieri, Amitai Stern and Lior Stern. Dear sister of the late Sylvia Stern and the late Allen Levin. She is also survived by sister-in-law Beverly Levin, many loving nieces and nephews and her loving family member Shelley Barbieri. Ruth was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers since she was a teenager, and tried to never miss a game.
