- Family Members:
- He is survived by his husband of 40 years, Norman Horowitz, and brother James (Brenda) Tomasik. Also, brothers and sister Leonard (Cheryl) Horowitz, Jerry (Karen) Horowitz and Cindy(Phil) Wolf as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Tomasik and his brother Stanley Tomasik.
Rob was born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, and moved to the Detroit area in the early 1970s. He sold men's clothing at Brooks Brothers. He volunteered at The Detroit Zoo for over twenty years and volunteered at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield for over ten years.
