- Family Members:
- Dr. Jack Pearl of West Bloomfield, Michigan passed away surrounded by family at his home on May 15, 2026. An early advocate for exercise and preventative health, he was fit and active for almost all of his 95 years. He is survived by his wife Carol Pearl, his children Julie, Michael and Steven Pearl, grandchildren Adam, Elise & Josie Pearl, Dani & Sam Colman, Kristin & Jake Fischer, stepchildren Robin & Scott Busker and their children/grandchildren. He was also a beloved uncle to many, including Charles and Ronnie Lechner.
Born to immigrant parents during the Great Depression, Jack was the youngest brother -- the one who got to finish high school. Humbly hurdling from one milestone to another, he became a doctor of family medicine and later a board-certified allergist. Forever grateful for support of his family and others, Jack developed his own brand of generosity and warmth that became legendary in his community.
Dozens of lives were guided and nurtured, as Jack supported dreams, softened hardships and beamed positivity with his loving eyes. He inspired all of his descendants and others to pursue fulfilling professions that better the world in some way. He is also remembered for his deep, enduring friendships.
