Janet Korn, 91, of West Bloomfield passed away November 25, 2025.

If you look up Balabusta on Google the name Janet Korn will pop up. Everyone was an extension of her family. There was always a party at the Korn household, and Janet was a most gracious host no matter the occasion. Her door was always open, and her smile was the invitation. She created the Kool-Aid house where neighborhood kids would hang out, play, have a meal, and genuinely feel welcome.

Additionally, her baking was legendary. and the most important ingredient was always love.

Janet was married 70 loving years to Ben, of blessed memory.

She is remembered by her children: Elaine and Victor Levin, Marlene and David Wolf, Robert Korn, Howard and Susan Korn; grandchildren, Daniel and Mackenzie Levin, Jamie and Jordan Cutler, Adam Wolf, Erin and Kyle Warren, Jennifer and Chris Gradone, Tracy and Sam Mallory, and Julia Korn; great grandchildren, Travis, Megan, Hazel, Nora, Ari, Maddie, Olivia, and Owen; devoted sister and brother-in-law Rita and Bernie Castleman, sister and brother-in-law of blessed memory Marilyn and Marty Glovinsky; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Janet was the daughter of the late Alex and Grace Ross.
